My Month 1 Results

If you follow me on social media, you know that for the past month I have been faithfully committed to doing Beachbody program Insanity Max:30 by Shaun T.

To answer some quick FAQ's:
How long is the program?: 60 Days
How long are the workouts?: 30 minutes
Category?: Cardio
Program difficulty?: Advanced
Price?: $180
How to get it?: Go HERE

You may have heard of Insanity, Shaun T's original version of this workout that truly gave you a year’s worth of results in only 60 days. Now, years later, he created the hardest workout program ever put on DVD called Insanity Max: 30. These workouts will absolutely be the hardest 30 minutes of your life. There’s no equipment needed as we don't life weights in Insanity, we lift US! The purpose of each workout is just to push to your MAX. You're SUPPOSED to max out, you're supposed to need a break; that's what this program was designed for. Once you reach your max during each workout you simply write down your time, take a second to catch your breath and jump right back in it. The goal it to beat your max out time each time you that each specific workout. Do that and you WILL get insane results two months later in just 30 minutes a day.

Become a Coach & Create Your Own Future

Become a Coach & Create Your Own Future

Ok, so here's the deal... πŸ‘‹πŸΌ

Unless you've been living under a rock or you're new to the social media world... it's no secret that your newsfeed is probably consumed with "join my team" ads, before/after photos and great testimonials from high-quality products in various network marketing/direct sales companies. πŸ™ŽπŸΌ

Sometimes it gets overwhelming and maybe even a little annoying. I get it! And, I
'm totally not bashing those distributors/reps at all! Shoot, being in the #1 team of the Team Beachbody Network, sometimes I even get a little annoyed. πŸ™†πŸΌ

Don't get me wrong...

I am a supporter of network marketing myself as I do think it's a fantastic business model. It provides freedom and flexibility, opportunity for financial success, fun/support and opportunities for personal growth! πŸ’πŸΌ

It's especially fantastic for stay-at-home or working mamas (or future wannabes) like myself! πŸ‘ΆπŸΌ

BUT I also believe it has to be TASTEFULLY done, RAW, REAL, and AUTHENTIC. I see way too much fake garbage and spam that does not come from the heart. πŸ‘ŒπŸΌ

Starting your own business does not have to label you as a "newsfeed spammer," not every team is the same, your decision in selecting a "work-at-home" opportunity should be a thought-out, serious decision, and you should sign with a person who you KNOW will help guide you in the right direction in becoming a success. πŸ™‹πŸΌ

I've recently invested in a Facebook manager that I've been working with for over a month now to help teach people how to NOT be icky like you see everyone else that give us a bad name.πŸ™…πŸΌ

You should also support a product that you are PASSIONATE about because that's where you're going to find your FIRE! πŸ”₯

When I discovered I could create a 6-figure income within a few years from home doing what I truly, genuinely LOVED (helping people through the vehicle of health and fitness all while working on my own fitness/health goals) I let that passion propel me forward! πŸƒπŸΌ

Sure, I had my doubts and reservations...I still do, but the awesome part was the option of always having great accountability, personal growth, support and being surrounded with so much POSITIVE friendship (oh, and a discount!) even if my business "failed."

So, to get to the point, there is still time to make this year your absolute BEST year in EVERY aspect of your life - wealth, health, relationships and personal growth - and I want to help you achieve that! πŸ’ƒπŸΌ

You can create a truly amazing opportunity for yourself and you can do it so that you stand apart from the rest!

I'm excited to share with you how I've done just that and how YOU can do that as a coach on my amazing team!πŸ‘―

I'm taking applicants ALL month for my brand new intro into coaching program. Just fill out the form below!πŸ‘‡πŸΌ

I'm looking forward to working with you on starting your business, helping you with your health/fitness goals, and creating the start of a great friendship this year!

What's in it Wednesday? | Shakeology | Sacha Inchi

What's in it Wednesday?
Shakeology | Sacha Inchi

I've decided to do a new series every Wednesday called, "What's in it Wednesday?" to explain all incredible ingredients in Shakeology that are found all over the globe! :)

For our first "What's in it Wednesday," I'm going to go over superfood, Sacha Inchi!

Sacha Inchi, aka the Inca peanut, is the seed of a plant that grows in the highlands of Peru. Despite being a fairly recent discovery in the health community of the United States, it has been cultivated and used as a food source for 3,000 years in the Amazon rainforest.

These seeds are rich in protein, omega 3, 6, and 9, alpha tocopherol vitamin E, carotenoids (vitamin A), and fiber. This superfood is easily digested and unlikely to cause allergies or irritation. It has a similar flavor to olive oil, just slightly lighter and nuttier, but it contains more protein and omega 3.

What are the benefits of Sacha Inchi?

1. Cholesterol – Sacha inchi lowers LDL and raises HDL cholesterol. Cholesterol levels may not be the biggest marker for cardiovascular problems we once thought them to be, but they are still a concern and can reflect dietary problems and genetic dispositions toward some diseases.

2. Well Being – These seeds contain a good amount of tryptophan, a precursor for serotonin. Serotonin is a feel-good hormone and neurotransmitter that helps us deal with stress and feel calm and happy. The omega 3 also reduces inflammation in the brain, which can cause mood shifts, headaches, and more.

3. Weight Loss – Higher serotonin levels, thanks to the tryptophan, also regulate appetite so we don’t get cravings, overeat, or snack more than we need to.

4. Brain Health – The majority of our brain is composed of fat. We need good, healthy fats to resupply those cells and to continually fight inflammation. Inflammation in the brain can cause depression, fatigue, memory issues, and exaggerated responses to pain.

5. Heart Health – Sacha inchi improves circulation while lowering blood pressure, cholesterol, and inflammation throughout the body. All of this makes for a healthier, happier, less stressed cardiovascular system, from arteries to heart and beyond.

6. Diabetes – Omega 3 helps control glucose levels. Many doctors and researchers argue that omega 3 may actually reduce insulin resistance in those with type 2 diabetes. Omega 3 also lowers triglyceride levels, which are often high in diabetics.

7. Bone Health – Omega 3s help the body absorb calcium. Foods rich in omega 3 improve bone density, staving off some of the deterioration that occurs as we age.

8. Vision – The vitamin E, vitamin A, and omegas in sacha inchi can improve vision and maintain eye health. Like the brain, the eyes rely on a good amount of fat, and are prone to inflammatory damage, especially as we get older.

9. Joint Health – The anti-inflammatory nature of sacha inchi may make it a good supplement to ease joint pain and rheumatoid arthritis. Consider combining sacha inchi oil with ginger for even more benefits.

10. Skin and Hair – Omega 3 fatty acids are vital to healthy hair and skin. They help us regulate oil production, keep skin elastic, lock in hydration, protect against sun damage, and help repair damage when it occurs.

*Watch for "What's in it Wednesday?" every Wednesday at 7:30 PM EST over at Facebook.com/RachelFaulFitness!

Stay tuned for next week! :)

9.5.16 - Day 22

Max Out Time: 11:13

Hello week 4! Give up on giving up! πŸ‘ŠπŸΌ

I can't believe I am almost done with month one already! Holy cow that time went by fast!

Just another big reminder for all of you reading and following me along on my journey - the time is going to pass anyways! Why not be proud of yourself in four weeks from now instead of kicking yourself in the ass for not starting now!!

Today was also my first day of the #yogaretreat which I'll talk about in my next post! (Stay tuned)

I did that first so I was already a little burnt out from that, just because I'm used to doing anything like that.

Today was my last day doing
#insanitymax30 #cardiochallenge tho so I'm pumped about that!

The first time I did it (Day 1) I maxed out at 8:30 and today (Day 22) I maxed out at 11:13!

I'm okay with that haha!
Couldn't resist getting my
#LaborDay sweat on!

9.6.16 -Day 23

Max Out Time: N/A
Total Number of Push-ups: 131

From my 5:30AM workout this morning! πŸ’ͺ🏼 #Day23 πŸ’πŸΌ

I love the
#Tabata style workouts so much! That's, sweat on my shirt btw, not a stain lol!

As I have been doing for
#TabataStrength I kept track of my push-ups again today and I got 131! πŸ™ˆπŸ˜

The first time I did this workout I got 76 me the second time I did it I got 119!

So freaking happy about its even though they're all modified haha!

Practice will make perfect tho I know it will!

Just think of all the progress YOU would make if you joined me?! πŸ˜‰

For real, join one of my trainings - I don't bite, I promise!
 ...
This picture has a little irony because it has my old team name in it, with my old team shirt one Team
#NoExcuses !

BUT I recently decided to have it changed and I been searching for a graphic design artist to come up with something different for me and I am so excited to say that it is literally so close to be released, I LOVE it!

I'm not going to spill all the beans until it's completely ready so stay tuned for that!

9.7.16 - Day 24

Max Out Time: 12:17

Oh hey best friend..

NOT.

I'm so glad I don't have to do Sweat Intervals again haha!

I wasn't looking forward to it at all but I definitely pushed through and gave it my all!

I can't believe my last week of my first month of this program is already half over!

I can't wait to see what month two holds, but for now I'm going to enjoy these last workouts of month one!

9.8.16 - Day 25

Max Out Time: 6:37
Total Number of Push-ups134

I literally cannot feel my arms😩

Today was not a great day. I just could not get my mind to shut off so that I could focus so I really struggled getting through it today. 😞

The one good thing about today's workout was that I beat my push-ups again! Tuesday I got 131 and today I got 134!

My arms are dead.

This has been one of my favorite workouts of month one so I am definitely a little sad about not doing it again but I'm excited to see what's next!

Did my yoga before this workout too and I actually found a few poses I can do without looking ridiculousπŸ˜‚

We're going to the Florida Georgia Line, Cole Swindell, The Cadillac Three, and Kane Brown concert tonight so I had to get my workout in earlier today!

9.9.16 - Day 26

I finally found a yoga pose that I can do haha! #TreePose

This whole yoga this is definitely not a piece of cake. I'm realllly not flexible πŸ˜‚πŸ™ˆ

PS- I am taking my rest day today because we got home so late from the
#DigYourRoots concert and I am TIREDDD!

9.10.16 - Day 27

Max Out Time: 11:03

I didn't want to do it but it had me smiling 3 minutes in!

Does that make me crazy? HahaπŸ˜‚πŸ™ˆ

Since I took my rest day yesterday I had to make up for it today so I did my last
#FridayFight #Round1 workout!

I maxed out 11:03 which about 2 and 1/2 minutes past my first max out time. Not an insane amount of progress but progress none the less.#progressnotperfection

Tomorrow is my last day of month one! I can't believe it!

9.11.16 - Day 28

You guysss! I just finished MONTH ONE! πŸ˜πŸ™ˆπŸ˜πŸ™‹πŸΌπŸ’πŸΌπŸ’ͺ🏼

I just completed my last workout of month one, #pulse! Plus I did 50 minutes of yoga today because I got behind in our #3WeekYogaRetreat!

My shoulder and back are definitely sore from that that yoga today but it feels good!

I can't believe how fast this first month went!

I am so nervous to find out what's to come with month 2 tomorrow! 😳
I'm ready for it tho!! I've only been preparing for the last 4 weeks haha!

πŸ‘ŠπŸΌI do have my month one #transformation video made and it is pretty awesome if I do say so myself but I am NOT sharing it until this Facebook like page reaches 300 likes!

8.29.16 - Day 15

(My Birthday!)
Nobody likes you when you're 23 πŸŽ‰πŸ’πŸΌπŸŽˆ#nolongerfeelin22

Saying hello to my 24 year old self πŸ‘‹πŸΌπŸ‘‹πŸΌπŸ‘‹πŸΌ

A few years ago I started making a video of myself on my birthday to watch the next year on my next birthday.

Before that I did it in writing and I would write myself a letter to open the next year....

I switched to video because you can't see or hear emotions reading words the way you can when you hear them.

So what do I do in these videos?

I go over my predictions from the following year and I see how they compare to how my life really is now.

I predict things for not only me but my whole family and Devin too.

I give myself a positive message. I give myself an insight of my current life. Then, I end with my hopes for myself the following year.

Once I finish the video I do NOT watch it again until my next birthday.

I personally love doing these! It's not only just a fun thing to do but it's a really neat way to connect with yourself as well!

So 24 year old self, my biggest hope for you is that I just want you to be happy.

Love,
your 23 year old self πŸ’•

8.30.16 - Day 16

Max Out Time: I honestly don't know, I didn't write down the time :(

Okay that was really confusing...

I was doing really good with the whole holding up so many fingers to represent what day I was on but 16 was a little tricky I'm not going to lie haha!

I took like 6 pictures before this because I couldn't figure out how the heck to do it so I'm just going to wing it and stick to this one!

Apparently I got like more tan from that workout too? Haha! I'm sure it's just the lighting but I'm not complaining πŸ’πŸΌ

I did Cardio Challenge today because NO of course I did NOT workout on my birthday!!

I had people messaging me asking where my post was but I had already pre planned on not doing it on my birthday. I can make it up, no biggie.

Plus, that gave my back an extra day to rest too!

I was in a terrible mood this morning and during the workout I actually got happy again. I'm not sure how that happened but it did and now I feel much much much better!

So thank you, Day 16 for putting me in a better mood! 😊

8.31.16 - Day 17

Max Out Time: 22:40
Total Number of Push-ups: 76

All I have to say about today is.. SHE WASNT READYπŸ˜³πŸ”«  ( click here to see my video lol) πŸ˜‰

I hope you've seen that Kevin Hart clip so you know what I'm taking aboutπŸ˜‚

For real tho I don't ever want to do another diamond jump burpee or "V" push up ever again....

Like ever. No, don't count me in on that! 😭

I survived tho and I maxed out at 22:40 at some crazy one leg push up thing and I was like okay yeah, no, that ain't happenin. πŸ™…πŸΌ

It was, I admit, a nice mix up tho so I will give it that but I definitely just got my ass handed to me.

Happy Day 17, more than half way day with month one! πŸ’ͺ🏼

9.1.16 - Day 18

Max Out Time: 12:19

Well that was a surprise...

For one, I did my workout this morning which means these photos were taken this morning.

I am just now however creating my post for it and come to find out apparently my before workout photo didn't save 😑 yep. I hope that you noticed what was missing from this picture - the program calendar!

.
For two, today's workout was Sweat Intervals aka my least favorite workout so far just because I am the worst at it haha!

BUT WAIT - good news! Today I actually did really good it and increased my max out time by two minutes!

I am amazed at how much easier this workout is for me now and to be honest I'm actually starting to kinda like it now!

I felt amazing this morning and I had so much more energy all day!

I was running on a tight schedule but in so glad that I still fit it in. Morning workouts are always what I prefer whenever possible!

Don't you want to have more energy throughout your days too? 😜

9.2.16 - Day 19

Max Out Time: 26:16
Total Number of Push-ups: 119

I am in SHOCK!

So you know how for my Tabata workouts I have been keeping track of how many push-ups I do throughout the workout?

Wellllll......

When I did #TabataStrength just TWO days ago I did 76 push-ups.
Today I did 119 push-ups!

ARE. YOU. FREAKING. KIDDING. ME.

Oh my lawddd I am SO flipping excited! That's so freaking amazing! 😍😭

They're all modified tho, so just to clarify. I still suck at them but I'm hoping by the end of the 60 days I'll be able to do them ALL on my toes! 😁

Anyways, I got to try out my cute new workout tank that my work family got me for my birthday on Monday this past week. It's pink (my favorite color, of course) and on the back it says "this is why I squat"!

I will post pictures of the back of it in a few days so stay tuned for that! I love love love it! πŸ™‹πŸΌ

Workout went fantastic today! As always with this routine we start out with diamond jump burpees and at first I was like okay kill me now but then I told myself no, stop you'll do fine just do it. So I did. And I did awesome. And I'm super proud. ☺️

Happy
#InsanityMax30 #Day19 to me and #HappyFriday to all of you! 😘

9.3.16 - Day 20

Max Out Time: 8:47

What up 20's! πŸ‘ŠπŸΌπŸ‘ŠπŸΌπŸ‘ŠπŸΌ
Today's workout was Friday Fight Round 1 and it was intense!
I was pretty sore from yesterday (first time being noticeably sore so far). My arms are sore and my butt is super sore.

I have been trying to not walk like I have a stick up my butt all day but it may have happened a few times lolπŸ˜‚
I had to really push today to get through it but I'm so glad I did because I was completely dripping in sweat! πŸ’¦πŸ’¦
I can't believe week three is almost over already! This program has been going by so fast!!
Just another huge reminder to get started on working towards YOUR goals!
The time will pass A N Y W A Y S!! So why not get started now so you don't regret it later on?
Insanity Max:30 Day 20✔️
πŸ‘‹πŸΌ
Who else got their Saturday sweat on?

9.4.16 - Day 21

Max Out Time: N/A
Last day of week 3!

Sunday's are supposed to be rest days but since I already took mine on Monday earlier this week for my birthday I had to make up that workout today!

I loved doing
#Pulse today it got me so excited to start the 3 Week Yoga Retreat tomorrow while still keeping up with this program!

I have never done anything like this before so I'm looking forward to it!

I'm hoping yoga helps me to relax more, relieve stress, and most of all ease my chronic back pain a little bit!

Happy
#week3 to me! #day21 is complete!
Happy Sunday! I hope everyone is having a wonderful holiday weekend!

I will be posting these updates at the end of each week so stay tuned for my week four update!
