Motivational Mindset Monday | Do Your Best Where You're At
 
 
Sounds easy, right? It's much easier said than done though.
 
If I had to take a guess, you're probably not in your dream situation either. I don't think very many of us are.
 
Where we are and where we want to be is probably a whole lot different but it's important to still do your best with your situation as it is right now.
 
There are millions of little stepping stones we must cross to get to our dream situation. Some of them will be great and some of them, well, not so much.
 
Either way, if you want to keep moving forward you need to appreciate each step instead of feeling angry, impatient, or ashamed of it.
 
Don't forget that everything you do along your journey contributes to where you're going. Have a good attitude about whatever it is that you're doing now.
 
Maybe you don't really care if your customers order isn't right but try to care anyways.
Maybe you don't really care that your that your customer stood in line for ten minutes but try to care anyways.
 
The point is that the more grateful you are for everything you have in this exact moment, the more pleasant the journey will be. In one way or another it's all helping you get towards your dream situation, right?
 
Make sure you are present in each moment. For me, this is something I personally really struggle with. Drown out all that is around you and keep your blinders on. Remember that you are going for it, even if it still seems so far out of reach, even if you've failed ten times trying already. You are brave, you are bold, and you are worthy of your dreams.
 
Take a second to reflect on where you're at and relax. Take a deep breath and be grateful that you're living with a purpose and that you love yourself enough not to give up.
